Sequoia, Kings Canyon to erase Robert E. Lee’s name from trees

Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks are deleting the name of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee from park signage and literature, according to published reports. The move comes amid national protests against racial injustice, which in some cases have led to vandalizing and toppling of controversial monuments.
