Ten Presses and How They Work

A 105 minute VHS video about platen presses and letterpress printing.

     Five table-top presses are shown: Kelsey, Sigwalt, Golding Official and "Map" Official and Craftsman Superior (Pilot clone).  Additionally, five floor model presses are covered as well:  #1, #3, #11 Golding Pearls, 7x11 Oldstyle Gordon and 8x12 N.S. C&P. Four are treadle presses, and one, the C&P, was originally a treadle press but now is motorized.            

     The presses are shown, adjustments are demonstrated, and remarks made about their good and bad points.  A few accessories are featured as well.  This is a home made video -- nothing fancy -- but chock-full of information you won't find anywhere else.
